Aviation manufacturing areas require heavy-duty, hard-wearing, anti-slip floors that are resistant to impact and chemicals such as Skydrol and Hyjet. Often floors in these tough environments need to also be static dissipative, to prevent damage to electronic components during the production process.
Our resin floors provide a hard-wearing surface that can tolerate high volumes of heavy-wheeled traffic, heavy aircraft and point loads. Sherwin-Williams flooring solutions are also suitable for busy workshops where maintenance work, storage and distribution are in constant operation. Where very heavy duty finishes are required, such as areas where extreme abrasion and impact can occur, our FasTop and Resuscreed range of systems provide solutions up to 10mm in thickness for long term durability and protection from abrasive traffic.
Our Resutile ST high-grade polyurethane coating system can be incorporated as a top coat for total protection against aviation fluids such as Skydrol and Hyjet that can attack inferior surfaces, and is recommended for all areas at risk of chemical spillages. If a super smooth, light reflective finish is required, the Resuflor SL 3mm system can be installed with a top coat of Resutile for maximum chemical protection.
Safe and anti-slip
Our best-selling Resucoat range of epoxy resin coatings are a cost-effective solution and provide a range of surface profiles, that achieve the right balance between non-slip texture and ease of cleaning. Resucoat UV Composite is a build-up, multi-coat epoxy resin floor system which has an aggregate sandwiched between the base and coating, providing thickness and durability with an anti-slip surface texture that is cleanable within your normal maintenance regime.
